ARM ROBBERS STORMS FIRST GENERATION BANK NIGERIA –AGBOR BRANCH
It was a dangerous moment in IKA NORTH EAST LOCAL GOVT AREA of delta state at first bank –nigeria.
The incident happened early hours of the day 21st
JUNE 2013, and it happened around 10:00am-11:00am of that faithful day.
The robbers paraded with their weapons and ammunitions there
by spraying out bullets around the premises. According to an eye witness he
said that the robbers where welled prepared for the operation and they might have surveyed
the entire environments of the town mostly the BANK premises.
That they lock their victims in the bank and they start-up
their operations in the BANK and raided
the whole premises, is when they started coming out of the bank that they
started spraying bullets around the environments.
Five fear dead and so many people where injured, cars also
was damaged as a result of the robbing of the BANK.
GOSSIPS AROUND THE SCENE.
At he first time I
thought that the whole town is on fire and I began to run for my dear life
because anybody can be a victim of circumstances.
The sound of the
gunshots brought fear to the whole environment , even the security agencies where
afraid too such as the arm forces e.g
Police, Army and Vigilant Groups in AGBOR TOWN.
I don’t know why the
security operatives in agbor failed at this time they are needed most in this time of
situation.
All I have to say is
that the security members should track them down…….
PAST INCIDENTS.
According to the people of the of the town in each season or
year there is always arm robbing issues in the town both in the street and
banks of AGBOR.
And each bank that they rob they must succeed in all, there
by bringing fear to the citizens of the town.
HOPE FOR THE PEOPLE OF IKA LAND.
With opinions of the people living in agbor, all they need
is for the government to provide industries, drastic improvements in the town:
thereby constructing roads and government should address the issue of
unemployment in the state by creating job opportunities.
According to the citizen of the town unemployment has been a
major virus that is corroding the entire town and in so doing some youths of
the town has join cultism, stealing, force possessions of land and lot more.
Much is needed in the town of AGBOR.
And other bank operatives such as ZENITH, ECOBANK, FIDELITY,
DIAMOND and others has been advice to alert the security operatives if there is
any suspicious movements at the bank premises.
CRICTISM TO SECURITY OPERATIVES
At the time of this report the citizens of agbor has
something to say---
I thought that we have army men that was deployed in our
town, they all fill relax, but if it
where to be OKADA riders they will beat them up and ask them to pay for some
money before they can carry their machines.
But it is the case of arm robbers now and they can stand and
defeat them…
What a shame to Nigeria police and Nigeria army…………..
When the gun shot started springing up I thought it was army
people but unfortunately it was the robbers at FIRST BANK because the army men
always release gun even they did not see any arm robbers they will shot in the
air so that people can be afraid and fear them.
But why cant they face this hoodlums that are robbing banks
in the town……….
You can see that arm forces are failing us in this
generation because they arm men the not respond on time and I believe that
might be busy flexing that’s why they did not come on time .
They should remove this present people and deploy new people
to handle the town……….
