Visa Free Africa-Kenya President Advocates
Kenyan President, Uhuru Kenyatta, is of the
opinion that a borderless continent will
promote trade and investments in Africa.
He spoke on Sunday while inaugurating
the Kenyan Chancery in Abuja. The
chancery is said to be the biggest in Africa.
Kenyatta, who said he was elated to visit
Nigeria, added the two countries enjoy
harmonious relationship.
According to him, his foreign policy
mission is to give priority to African
development and integration.
He said, "There is great potential to boost
inter-African trade among our people. In it
lies the future prosperity of Africa."
Kenyatta appealed to Kenyans in Nigeria to
be good ambassadors by being law
abiding.
He added, "All I can tell you my fellow
Kenyans is to be good ambassadors. Help
us build good bridges. Please speak well of
our country.
"There is no country without its own
problem but Kenya is our own. Please,
show the good behaviour and hard work
that Kenyans are known for.
"It is up to you as citizens to drive the
economy, we can only create enabling
environment."
