World Cup: Nigeria To Play Friendly Against Scotland

It has been officially confirmed by the Scottish Football Association (SFA) on Friday that Nigeria will warm-up for the World Cup with a friendly against Scotland on May 28.

The game will be held in Craven Cottage, the home of Premier League side Fulham.

It is worth mentioning that the Scottish team is preparing for Euro 2016 qualifiers, while Nigeria have qualified for their fifth World Cup finals.

According to the rivals' coach, Gordon Strachan, they considered a lot of options but the chance to play Nigeria, a country who will be going to the World Cup this summer, was the most interesting one.

It would be recalled that the World Cup takes place in Brazil from June 12-July 13.
