Rihanna just finished another performance and wore a severely cropped top that we're sure jump-started so many crossed fingers and toes for a wardrobe malfunction, but it's RiRi's red custom Alaia that first landed her on the dress code offenders list. While beautiful, the one-off gown directly conflicts with the, "Please avoid sheer see-through clothing that could possibly expose female breast nipples," note. We're sure the self-proclaimed bad gal would have one response to that: #phuckyodresscode.

Ashanti's had a real thing for sheer, but this is pretty egregious. We can definitely see what kind of drawers she's working with on this night, and though they definitely surpass any lingerie we've ever owned, they're definitely not up to Grammys dress code. Neither is that peekaboo side-boob from her keyhole neck. Tsk tsk.

 

ALICIA KEYS' STEALTH NEATHAGE

Alicia Keys narrowly made it through the show without making it onto the CBS naughty list, but her lively performance and mostly sheer stage ensemble were a volatile underboob, rule-breaking combo.

 

DEADMAU5'S PROFANITY CAP

One part the network and awards show left in ALL CAPS in the wardrobe advisory was, "OBSCENITY OR PARTIALLY SEEN OBSCENITY ON WARDROBE IS UNACCEPTABLE FOR BROADCAST," which we take to mean they REALLY aren't messing around on this point. Not only does deadmau5 violate that rule, he bucks the, "Please avoid commercial identification of actual brand name products on T-shirts," part, too. And judging from his history with outrageous fashion antics, this was almost definitely premeditated.

 

KELLY ROWLAND'S SEE-THROUGH DETAILS

Finally, we have Kelly Rowland. If we took the square-footage of the opaque areas of Kelly's dress, this would seem, on paper, an acceptable garmet. HOWEVER, the sheer paneling on this bad boy is sooooo strategic, only just revealing the most "problematic" "curvatures." But like, girl's athletic figure and buttery-looking skin is SO bananas, we're not even mad about it. And we hope CBS/The Grammys aren't either.
